MINUTES Cornerstone Corvette Club of Carroll County Saturday, November 21, 2009 – 5:30 PM In attendance: Norm & Jen Elkins, David & Georgia Gist, Don & Lynn Graf, Steve Rill, Walt &
Roberta Music, Mike Sizemore and John & Lois Urban. Don opened the meeting with prayer. President Report (Don Graf) Don
asked that we discontinue the 501C3 status. Steve made a motion, Walt seconded it and we all voted
in favor. Don has set up May 1, 2010 as a sanctioned event in conjunction with the Carroll Christian School event. We
can make it a 3-event in one. We will have our own area for just Corvettes. Don
will need to get approval from NCCC and will know the answer at the next Governor’s Meeting. Treasurer’s
Report (no report but the last balance was $620.22) Chaplain’s Report None Old Business No
activities are planned in December other than the 12/14 dinner at Dutterer’s followed by fellowship and dessert at the
Staner’s home. Meet at Dairy Queen at 6:30 PM. New Business Nominations and

and all positions were unanimously elected as nominated. Books to review: Mike
said we were given two books to review by a publisher online. We are to read the books and give our

dues for the NCCC -- $35 for member and spouse or $25 for member. Dues are due
November 14. Don will contact absent members about paying. Larry will contact Clyde and Ernie.
Don will mail the check to NCCC.
Westminster Christmas Parade –
Don gave Classic Corvettes of MD number to Lindy since they wanted an old Corvette.
Next dinner is
11/17 at Hanover Road Diner – meet at 6:30 PM.
No activities are

Need to vote to
change the By-Laws – Article IV, Section 3. Officers need to be given to NCCC by November. Don recommended nominations and election of officers by held at the September meeting and duties start
in October. John made the motion and Steve seconded. Discussion took place making everyone aware that we need to get the names to NCCC earlier. A verbal vote of taken and all were in favor.

After much discussion,
we had decided that the downtown car show would be too much for our club to handle at this time, financially and lack of manpower
needed. Don sent an e-mail to Lindi McNulty. Don will continue working on plans for the car show on his own; need to hear back from the City of Westminster for approval of a smaller car show.

passed around a Corvette Bible from a guy that lives in Wisconsin
who heads up Corvettes for Christ.
In celebration
for the 100th Anniversary of GM, the Corvette Museum is having an event in which cars from each generation will be on display. Mike’s 1990 model was chosen. They
will start in Bowling Green, Kentucky
and travel to several other states for festivities from 9/19 through 9/18.

The
City of Westminster wants $1,500 to block off streets for
the car show. We have realized that there is too much work for a small group
of members to handle with an event such as this. Don will send out ballots to
those who missed the last meeting asking their opinion of going ahead with plans for the car show or to decline.

Club will be meeting to put packages together for the USO for our troops. Assembly
will take place at Fort Belvoir. They will also go over to the Tomb of the Unknown
Soldier.
